@ Claudia First up, I am happy for you that you beat that beast called cancer. Keep pursuing your dream. If you really see your future in America then go ahead and follow your dream. That's what life is all about. It seems like you are considering making that jump but you are not 100% sure. What stops you from going? You can always go back to Germany!

..i thought i kinda explained why i am not 100% sure anymore about trying it again with the GC.
the thing is that i am not sure if my immune system will be that strong and fight the virus called HPV that caused the cancer on my cervix...right now the virus is "sleeping" in my body which means not active and not "doing" anything...
..so..thinking of THAT i feel safer being in Germany where my health insurance includes ALL payments for the docs + surgeries i might need again..HOPEFULLY NOT...!
THIS is my BIG point about which I AM thinking about...
..plus...telling me " just do it..you can always go back to germany" is said easier than done...

and right now i have other things in my mind...cuz on monday me and my colleagues got told that they'll shut our company down by march 31st and nobody knows yet how long they'll still be at work...
..of course THIS would be a chance for me...but...i cant just GO OVA THERE without a work visa or a GC....
and since i am "just" an office clerk i dont think there is a company in the US that will pay for my work visa...

but...yeah...the MOST IMPORTANT point to me that makes me feel to stay in Germany is the HEALTH INSURANCE ova here.

That's something that you have to decide for yourself. But since you haevn't won the grenn card yet you are far away from being in the position to make that decision. Health insurance could be a big issue for you. Why do consider moving to the U.S.? What do you like about the U.S.?
